House Guest

Has it been that long since we last wrote? Yes, I’m afraid it has. I have been working on sending out a weekly photo to our family members and I am going to try and do the same with the blog. You can help to keep me accountable!

This week has been incredibly busy. Josiah had a manners field trip where he learn all about table etiquette. He loved it (as did I). He also had a bike day at school and a bowling field trip on the last day of first grade! It was a very fun week for him.

Karis was out of school last week and enjoyed this week at home getting used to two active younger brothers. The weather was awful, which did not help the situation.

She cooks, knits, and drives other internationals around when they need a ride. We are going to really miss her pleasant, carefree personality.

Our second house guest is still here. Thomas is an exchange student from Taiwan University. He has been Toby’s Chinese tutor for the semester and they have enjoyed getting to know each other. He returns home tomorrow to enjoy his summer break and will complete his degree next year. Thomas is amazing with the kids. Karis had him cornered for an hour playing restaurant and store. He also read books to them. Although after living with us for 24 hours, he has decided NOT to have 4 kids. Too chaotic.
