Archive for November, 2010

It has been a month and we have not updated you on our lives or our ministry and for that I apologize. I would like to give you a quick update on everything.

On October 20, 2010 after a long struggle with a lung infection, my grandmother, Martha Marie Gosnell, passed on to her Lord and Savior. Reuben and I traveled with my sister, Julia, to the funeral in Maryland. It was a beautiful service, beautiful weather, and many heartfelt condolences were given on my grandmother’s behalf. Please continue to pray for my grandfather. He was moved to an independent-living apartment closer to my uncle’s home in Pennsylvania. He has a long road of mental, physical, and emotional recovery ahead of him. But “by the grace of God, goes he”.

Thank you so much for your prayers for my family.

This week we turn our total attentions to preparing for the international Thanksgiving feast. Each year we have approximately 160-180 internationals and church friends gather together to enjoy a homemade Thanksgiving feast prepared by over 50 cooks! Yummy! Please pray for a successful evening. Please pray that many connections will be made and relationships deepened as we serve the internationals here at Purdue. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, we’ll let you know how it went!
